I had a monster of a time with the wings on this piece, as you may be able to tell.
Anyone got any good tips for wings at awkward angles?

All I have to say is to just sketch lightly, look at some pics on the computer of birds, and that's how things usually work out. No one has ever seen an angel-like being before, so no one knows how to really draw weird angles. People can only strive to make it look good. Good job though!
